A man quits his job to care for his dying grandmother, motivated by her wealth. He figures out how to win her affection before she dies. This film lifts your heart, evoking a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality in all members of the family. It tends to maintain a feel-good atmosphere without delving too much into melodrama or stress. With a strong influence from Japanese drama, the mood and tone set by the music give the film a charming and pleasant atmosphere, not too sad. While some attempts at comic relief may seem a little unnecessary, overall a balance is struck that avoids sinking into overwhelming sadness. Despite this, there are still many scenes that will bring tears to your eyes.
